Controling XENIA ?
Thanks for responding . When you say scrape it what should I use ? A
razor blade or a dull knife ? When I do scrape it off do I just throw
it away ? In a way that seems unkind ?
I thought I may try to use suction it off when I do a water change. Do
you think this may work? THANKS again I am new to this hobby but am
really enjoying all the new things I am learning.

One thing you can do to help a little when placing Xenia, always place it
at the top of a rock, it will try to go upward, and slow the spreading.
But having it already out of control, just have to keep cutting it back.
You generally
can't "scrape" it off to keep it from coming back, there are just too
many knooks and
crannies in Live Rock.

I purchaced a small piece of Pulsing XENIA a few months back. It is
beautiful and quite wonderful to watch ....however it seems to be on a
forced march to cover as much as the tank as I will alow !. Can someone
tell me the best way to remove or trim it to keep it under control ? My
LFS told me I would not be able yo remove it from thelive rock that it
sucks itself on to firmly ? I have not tried to remove any of it yet
but just wish to know best way in case it starts to bug me. THANKS for
any help.
