Default Berghia nudibranchs questions

Hi Bryan,
I saw your posts on berghia and thought I'd help. We grow and sell
berghia.

Berghia nudibranchs eat only aiptasia. So once it's gone, the berghia

will starve in about a week or so. Usually they come out during the day

when the food becomes scarce. At that point you can take them out of
the tank and give them to a freind or sell them to a local fish store.

Large brittle stars can be a problem. It is advisable to move them to

a sump while the berghia are in your tank. More aggressive predators
include:
peppermint, camel and coral banded shrimp, lobsters, agressive crabs
like
Sally lighfoot and pom pom, some dottybacks and some wrasses like some
of the larger members of the coris family.

Check out our web site if you want to read all about berghia:

Good luck,
Lisa
