I do welcome new products that are good. As far as
lighting goes, there's not much profit :-)

You need to look at in a different frame of "light" :-) Pricey, yes but much more cost
effective in the long run if you are planning on keeping a reef tanks for some time. .
Don't forget these lights also have dimmers and you can also change the K setting, so you
can simulate dawn to dusk. I'm sure that in the future the price will come down and there
will be even high output units. This lamp is just a start in new forms of reef lighting.

Thanks for the reply. I was not critisising the equip. in any way,
just admiring the new development. The cost frightened me, that is
all !! U.S. products at $ 100 tend to be priced at £ 100, when they
hit the U.K., unfortunately, which is ridiculous. I think the
development, and settings variability is fantastic.

If Wayne is a retailer, you would think he would welcome new products,
as a chance for more profit. Has anyone on the Group visited his
premises ?
