Don't anyone be buying this meter, you will not be happy. The electronic
scale system built into the meter is a mess. I wrote the manufacture months
ago on how to fix it with all the tech data and proof they would need and
no reply

I happened to get one of those about six months ago. The salinity meter
doesn't seem to stay calibrated. I measure my tank about once a month, and
I need to recalibrate it almost every time.

Can you tell me what specific errors you noticed with the device? How did
you suggest that they fix it?
