tried but they need TOO much light
if ya could have the thing hanging out a window in the sun you'd be laughing
hey! even a sky light would kick ass
small ones just don't suck the nitrates and phosphates enuf and large ones
are.... large.
I gave up but the theory is sound....... have a monsteria delicio in a
cichlid tank, and duckweed/taro in me ponds so thats enuf for me.
mangroves remain like algae scrubbers
interesting
but only really for the sake of being interesting and fun to muck around
with
