Okay, I don't know much about snails. But can snails give live eggs when
they are alone? I've had this one 6-7 weeks alone, he is the only one in
the tank. Will it still do eggs? Yikes. And, it was on the tank floor
a little while yesterday, today it is floating in the current of my filter
hanging half way out of its shell.



Well some snails can do it alone but apple snails need a male but can hold
sperm for several months from a male if they have been in contact with one
(at the store) if yours is alone and has no eggs soon then you are safe.

Yeah mine is hanging out of his sell also, try putting some alge tabs in
with him/her, if it was moving last night then dont worry its fine. Also
what temp is your tank?
