Default Protein Skimmer and Phosphate

Yes it does by removing organics that contain phosphorous.

Ahh, the great chemistry Guru speaks! You really don't have a clue! Lol.

The OP asked about phosphate (PO4-3), not phosphorus. Although skimmers
remove organic compouds that contain phosphorus, they DO NOT remove
phosphate. While you're at it you may as well state that skimmers remove
orgaincs that contain Carbon, Oxygen and Nitrogen.

There has been some thought that it removes orthophosphate, but I've seen
no proof of that.


Goof ball, do you know what orthophosphate is? LOL
