It's some "potent" compound that has an "opening" to accept a phosphate
molecule.
It binds to it and it is skimmed out via protein skimmer. He said you
tank is cloudy for 6 to 8 hours.
He also said to be careful not to lower your Phos more than 1ppm per day
because you can OD this stuff and possibly cause harm to you fish. Glue
their gills up.

what is the major ion in the product...
Should be relativelly easy to find iron/aluminium there...
