You make a good point but what are sources of phosphate ?
Water, bacteria, feces, uneaten food, frozen fish food, algae, fish
slime....YIKES !
I'll get to the bottom of it sooner or later, however maintaining a high
Phos level
for an extended period of time can be just as detrimental, I think.
I don't think you can compare Cyanobacteria products with this one
because they do other documented things that ARE undesirable. (like kill of
beneficial bacteria)
I do wish I had more info on this product.
If I see something bad happen, I'll post it. SO far everything's ok.

I would be looking at how and why my phosphates got to where they are
than looking for a solution to a problem that at most seems like a
temporary bandaide. I am not familiar with the product you mention and
do not intend to get familiar withit or any other phosphate or other
ty0pe additive, but a lot of those products that kill off red slime
and lower phosphates do a lot more behind the scenes that is not
readily noticeable, such as effect beneficial bacteria etc......NOt
saying that products does or donp;t, but I would address the problem
why they go high to begin with and rectify that.
Just my opinion

OK, Just did a test a little over 2 hours later 10:15pm
and Phosphates are almost not detectable. WOW !
I'll test again tomorrow night.
Actually bought it he http://www.fragfarmer.com/home.php
$20 plus ship
So far looking good...again all fish and corals are fine.
Do you have some soft corals like toadstool Sarcophyton coral ?
They react unhealthy to poisoning with aluminium ions...
Yes 2 Sarcophyton frags. I just cut a monster 3 months ago. Traded 4
kept
2.
They look fine. ZERO PHOSPHATES TODAY !!!
This stuff works great. All water params are the same, including Copper
and
Iron.
( I tested for everything I had a kit for )
2 THUMBS UP (for now)
