new baby red oscars

It's probably nothing, but I just got 2 baby (1 3/4 in.) red oscars. I
did a
water check and everything seems okay, but they both seem kind of
lethargic.
One more than the other. I'm hoping it's just because of a new home, but..
I'm a first-time oscar mom, so I'm not real familiar with their
temperament
yet. Any advice? ~Jenn~
do a 25% water change
if this perks them up, do it next time they start looking worse
never wash your filter in anything but a bucket of water drawn from the
aquarium
gotta keep that sponge alive!!
the test results you need are
0ppm ammonia, 0ppm nitrite
If you can't test these, take your water to a fish shop and get them to test
for you.
forget pH for the time being
any problems 25% partial water change
AND don't forget the dechlorinator
feed many times a day with smaller oscars
make sure the current isn't too strong
but the water surface is disturbed (to get oxygen in)
also a temperature of no less than 25 deg C!!
