My yellow polyps closed up for about 1-1/2 days.
They are back to normal now. It may be because
they were in direct stream when I was adding this stuff.
But everything else is fine.

I believe the culprit for the High Phosphates to begin with is the
water I have been adding. I'm about 5 months overdue in changing
my RO/DI filters and media.

For some reason, chemistry experts there are not happy with the idea
of leaving phosphates in the tank (as sediments) and prefer usage
removable solid and porous filter media. They recommend watching
your carbonate hardness because this product might precipitate
carbonates as well as phosphates from your water column...
Also, elevated Lanthanum levels in the water might cause building
this element together with calcium into the coral skeletons and
coraline with unpredictable results...

But it was pointed out to me that there is an alternative to
the messy ferric oxide products like Phosban: PHOSaR made by
Warner Marine is made to be like granulated carbon: it does not
need the reactor, can be used like carbon in a filter bag...
