I had a couple in my 30 reef - they DID get clogged up with corraline
growth, but a vinegar dip and picking off the growth gave them new
life when it happened. I did this about half a dozen times before a
broke off a piece that joined the geared inside mechanism to the
outside revolving jet. Overall, I'd say they were worth the
inconveniences, especially at the price on marinedepot.com - I paid
twice that for them at the LFS

I'm looking for ways to better disperse flow in my 55g. These seem like
an inexpensive way to do that. However, if I buy 3 or 4 of these, it
would cost about the same as a good pump to make a closed loop manifold.

Sounds like a good product though.
