I had a Aqua Clear filter I bought for my 10 gallon freshwater. When I
plugged it in the first time every few minutes it made a grinding noise. I
took the pump apart and did everything I knew to fix it. Still made the
noise. Finally took it back. I just assumed it was a defective motor and
couldn't be fixed??
