My clowns are already prone to nip at my corals and I don't want a two
pronged attack so to speak....and in a 15g Nano there is less food
available and less margin for error....

You might consider a blue tuxedo urchin. However, they will die if
there's not algae, macro or hair. And though they will eat some coraline
algae, they won't bother any corals.
