Why not trap him out and put him in a quarantine tank, then introduce
your fish, give a few weeks, and then reintroduce the wrasse? The
wrasse will need to reestablish territory and may tolerate the fish better.

I did that will my blue fin damsil and it calmed down substantially.

I like the 2 liter bottle trap. It worked for me.
