My reward is the knowledge that you are condemned to go through life
being yourself. I can't think of any retribution or punishment for your
inane
trolling that would be worse then that. And if you must hit us with these
clever witty troll notes try learning how to get past 2nd grade grammar. It
will make "yu" so much more respectable.
I buy packs (usually the largest packs I can find) of various frozen
stuff like krill and mysid, brine, silversides etc etc so I canadd
them to my home brew frozen foods. MOst packs are San Franciso
(Sally's brand) or Hikari brand, and I have not found any mention of
ethoxyquin on the labels......however yesterday while in Deathco, I
looked at some fish gum drop foods in their freezer and they had
ethoxyquin listed on them......as did the frozen mice and pinkies
they had for reptile food.......
Oh an in case you did not know...Deathco is the most appropriate name
for Petco.

In the US, ethoxyquin, manufactured by Monsanto, is required by
law
to be used as a preservative in fish destined for the pet food
industry.
Are you maybe talking about dog/cat food ?
Issues with dog and cat food lead to my discovering this federal
law
requiring ethoxyquin in fish products sold for pet food. The law
supposedly
also states that this carcinogen need not be listed, especially if
it's
added to an ingredient that the manufacturer buys from a third
party.
I am talking about frozen krill and frozen ocean plankton.
The kinds I buy are made by San Francisco Bay:

For example: "Frozen Krill"
List of ingredients: Krill ----- 100%
Ethoxyquin is not listed on the package. Care to comment ?

Satori Koi Food lists ethoxyquin

Omega One Sal****er Tropical Fish Marine Flakes lists ethoxyquin
You can also google "ethoxyquin, fish food" and "ethoxyquin,
krill" to
see the variety of fish foods that contain ethoxyquin.
I e-mailed the manufacturer and here is the response from them:
"Thank you for your interest in San Francisco Bay Brand.
We don't use preservatives in our products.
Our products are preserved thru freezing and freeze drying."

I forgot more about ponds and koi than I'll ever know!
