Default My Pleco is not eating

I think I have a Yellow prince pleco like the once shown in this web
site http://www.exoticfinds.net/plecos.html
I change the water once or twice a week. Depending on the
contamination. I have only the pleco and I change 20 to 30% of the
water. He swims fast and looks healthy but I see algae wafer getting
diluted in the water or breaking apart, he did not touch neither the
cucumber nor the zucchini. I dropped blood worms and i don't think he
ate them. they were few though. I had to vacuum them before they get
rot. I am assuming he is eating something, otherwise it would have
died already.

=====================
If he's passing feces, he's eating. Do you see feces on the bottom?
Have you checked the ammonia and nitrites? Do you have kits for them?
