What type of lighting would be needed to keep a gulley in 125 gallon setup?

I've heard they have a tendency to be aggressive, stinging most of their
tankmates (often fataly).

Is this something I should be concerned about?

A friend of mine had one, he tells me all it was good for was fouling
the water in his tank.
