Default One strange Yellow watchman Goby

Don't feed the trolls, just put them in your kill file.

But to answer your question, the bristles are hollow
calcium carbonate (calcite). They have venom in them
that help induce pain. Being calcium carbonate, they
will eventually dissolve. A good way to get them off
of your hands, is to apply tape, and then pull off
the tape. Do this repeatedly to get it out of your
hands.

OK, they don't exeactly sting, but what DO you call the intense pain
they inflict when the bristles get into ones flesh?
