Ah, right, I did think for a moment that you had a) either lost your
marbles, b)had more money than sense or c) both of the afore
mentioned......Yes, the neons fit in really well with the angels but you
do need to consider that they could become "lunch" - and it is very much
a case of suck it and see.....

I had the neons before the angels but have introduced more neons
since.....I would say make sure that you get the largest neons in the
shop - some are so small that they are really just the size of
livebearer fry and won't last 5 secs.....Plant the tank as much as you
can before adding them - some valis and long-stemmed plants would
work....this gives the Neons an opportunity to escape.....Only buy 5/6
Neons to start (number depends on the quantity discount given by your
LFS) - this way if it does end in tears you haven't lost too much.....If
the angels and neons seem fine then go ahead and buy some more - nothing
more effective IMO than a school of little brightly coloured fish to
finish off a tank of larger fish. If it doesn't work with the Neons
there are other schooling fish that you might consider - I've just
acquired some flame rasboras - a little bit bigger than the neons and
look just great....
