Default Angel with lump on upper mouth

Good old usenet!
OK so it's a slow growing bump on a fish that is a black colour morph.
It's a safe bet it's a tumor really.
Considering fish like black livebearers are studied because of their
frequent tumors and their unholy ability to go on with life while covered in
them...........
Then really whatever BDB does.... it will have the same end.
Take it too a vet or op and super glue it up yaself.
Or let the thing take it's course, which with the cease of feeding it
sounded like it had.
A vet is still an option, a public aquaria north of here treated a fish with
radiation therapy to cure cancer.
But it's kinda bleedin' edge ****e so if ya don't have wads dosh..... I'd
be sharpening the brain spike.
Then again thats how I usually start the day anyway.

Unfortunately have so many of you killfiled, these threads are warped and
twisted.
So much excess venom. Oh to harness it and set ya to work in da fish shed.
Bit of a worry to see you hanging with frank tho.....
bit of a new low, and enuf for me to unsub this group
Later peeps
has been sweet.

u...
Sounds like a tumor thing.
Some of my scats over the years have got chin bumps.
Not sure if the same thing but a search on that could pull up a treatment.
Aside from looking horrible I assumed it was relatively harmless.
In your case perhaps not so.
Good Luck!

My freshwater angle has had a growth on its upper lip for about a year.
(Yes, shame on me for not dealing with it sooner). The growth seems to
be getting bigger lately and in the last month the fish hasn't been
eating
much. It's a mostly black angel, and the growth is greyish black and
currently about the size of a pencil eraser. Ideas on what this might be
and how to treat it? Fungus maybe? It doesn't look fuzzy...
