Default Is this normal?

The Foxface is a grazer fish. he'll eat through out the day. I usually put a
piece of seaweed in the tank on Monday, Tuesdays, he fends for himself i.e.
eat my algae, .. Wed back on the seaweed.. ect ect..
Sometimes I notice he devours the seaweed in a few minutes.. I then add
another peice to the tank.
I also found if I fold the seaweed up into a square, and place it on a clip.
the foxface is unable to tear it off to have the seaweed floating in the
water.. ( just a tip)
I have he purple seaweed as well as green, The purple claims to have more
protein then the green. So I alternate his feedings..
If the hair algae gets out of control, a good clean up crew will also do the
trick. Some blue claw hermits, emerald crabs and a few turbo snails do
nicely. Some folk like red claw hermits, in their clean up crew.. I never
bought any, the blues do a good job so.. Also I'm not sure what the
difference is in terms of how much or what they eat.

Yes this is pretty much normal.

Thanks. I'm counting on him to reduce the hair algae in my tank. Do I have
to feed him anything else, or can he just munch on that?

If you torture the data long enough, eventually it will confess
to anything.
