Default Pump is working

OK... it looks like an Earl Sheib abortion but it is working. We finally
found someone to work with the ID/OD problems. A 1 1/2" hose leaves the
pump and hits a T. Off the tee, on each side, are reducers (ACE hardware)
that take it to 1"... so there should be no backpressure on the pump. One
1" line goes to the filters and the other ends spewing water on the pond
surface.

Sounds like a winner..............you could even add a fountain head
or a spitter now with that one open end. Would it be beneficial to add
a valve to that open end to adjust flow..........so if filters start
to load up etc it does not start dumping out the path of least
resistence............The open line should also come in handy for say
doing a water change since you can just squirt the water outside the
pond as well.
