Default Timer review

I would not give 2 cents for a truck load of coralife digital timers.
I bought 2 of the dual digital timers and they both headed south and
have been replaced 2 times already and I am currently waiting to get
one of them replaced right now. As bad of a rap as their old
mechanical timers got (supposedly were notorious for causing fires) I
would rather have them anyday, and go through the hassle of simply
turning the dial to reset time if power goes out. IMHO the digitasl
are a real pain to program, and you may htink you have it all ready to
go, and it dumps. Battery life is not the issue it just seems very
sensitive (and thats according to ESU) to power surges and static or
lightning.......I had one that had to be set opposite of what it was
for it to work right..and that was right out of the box new. Day was
night and night was day. Unfortunalely it was replaced and went south
to where it failed within 3 months of receiving it as a replacement./
I will say one thing about Coralife (ESU), they are good at making
good on warranty claims.
