anyone know what it is other than a good reminder to wear gloves
when
handling live rock?

Jim

you mean his name is harry? how did you know?

Yep, and then there's Fred, the mantis shrimp. He will make his
appearance
later :-)

But yep, that's Harry the Hairy Crab. They just call him Harry for
short.
:-)

How do I know their names? That's easy, just look at their name tag on
their shirt. :-)

thanks

Harry (as he is now known) is back under the rock.

we had another creature in our live rocks. it looks like a centipede. I
only
get glimpses of it. very creepy. red in color with white little legs. do
you
know what it is? there is one, at least, in both tanks. are they
harmful?- Hide quoted text -

Guessing you got the same thing I just recently asked about
here...bristleworms...and as I've been advised by the folks here,
they're helpful since they apparently eat detritus (there's a couple
of species which are harmful, but I've been told they're not commonly
found in live rock)
Mitch

yep, that's it. strange, they're in both tanks in the live rock. i read some
of the prior posts. what did you ever do? i saw that corallife has a trap.
