Just bought a used aquarium which measures 19" x 20" x 60". The
seller said it was Oceanic Brand and held 100 gallons. My
calculations came up with less than 100 gallons, though math is not
my strong point. Oceanic no longer makes that size. Any opinions?
Let's see (using round numbers):
19"x20"x60" = 47cm x 50cm x 150cm = 352500 cm^3 = 356 l = 93gal

That's what I came up with, comparing it to my 45 gallon tank.
A US gallon is 231 ci.
19x20x60=22800 ci = 98.7 US gallons.
Now, assuming your glass is 1/2"
18.5x19x59=20738.5 = 89.77 US gallons inside.
But tanks are sold by the outside dimensions.
I guess I'll just measure the water while I put it in during initial setup.
