Maybe some other livebearers such as Mollies, Swords, endlers
livebearers. These would do well with Platties.
Many small danios or cherry barbs can also compliment these fish. I
also have kept Gouramis such as dwarf gouramis with these fish in
similar sized tanks with good success.
