The general consensus is, bristle worms are for the most part are
harmless and beneficial to your tank. If they get out of control, a good
clean up crew (Blue and Red Hermits)will rid them for you.
Books are always a good idea to give you some basic knowledge about
reefs, but they wont answer everything. Learn as much as you can, then
when you get stuck post a question in here or other forums and plenty of
people will reply.

There are members here who know a lot and members who know even more.
There is also a lot of bickering back and forth between members here.
Honestly I don't really know how it all got started but its
here.Sometimes you just need to weed through the bovine fecal matter to
find the right answer. Good luck with you tank.
