That was the first hit in a Google search for it.

But, even the bottle itself doesn't say it will eliminate water changes.
It says that it will make them less frequent. But, in personal
experience with it, it doesn't do what it claims to do.

I figured it didn't. Most of these products are money makers for those
that sell them and little more.

It does help with an ammonia spike. It just doesn't do the "no water
change for 6 months" claim. The idea is that it will take the Nitrogen
from the ammonia out of the water, thereby negating ammonia. If you have
an ammonia spike (Long story for another thread but I had one last
Tuesday), and you does with NitrabanT, it does bring the ammonia down for
a while but you can't neglect the tank because you used NitrabanT.
