Does Wayne have the nitrate reactor on his web site?

I thought he discussed it earlier about converting your canister to a
nitrate reactor. I jumped in and offered the drip gate idea.

You should be okay on livestock, etc. I'd go with seachem's stability.
I had big issues with nitrates before used that.

Yes he did, this is what he wrote:
"Nitrification is the process that takes place with plenty of oxygen.
Ammonia is oxidized into nitrite, and then oxidized into nitrate.

Denitrification is the process that takes place in low oxygen. Nitrates
is reduced to nitrites, and then reduced to N2.

By restricting the flow of the output of the canister filter, oxygen
levels in the canister filter will drop, and denitrification will take
place."

Basically he said to reduce the out put on the canister to allow the
water to warm from the motor and this will help in the process. Also to
have the water srip over a flat surface to help, but I don't have a
refugium, so until I get one, I don't see how I can do that. (That's
what I took away from it) If there is more to it then that, then I'm at
a lost. I know the basics of my tank but when it comes to the chemistry
and what does what and why, I'm lost.
