When I woke up this morning One of my shrimp was milk white and dead, Now I
look in my other aquarium and my pregnant Ghost shrimp is turning milky, I
think she’s about to die too….what do I do? She’s full of eggs and my
husbands favorite shrimp, she was ok this morning when I checked on her, even
gave the OK to my husband when he called to check on her….oh my gosh she’s
dying…please some one, any one..please help me save her.

The tank was completely cycled the other one's are ok. we had to seperate the
female and we put her in optimum conditions, we did everything right..how can
I save her? testing kit shows ok levels.

I'm using Hikari algea wafers and tetraMin tropical flakes...wait I also have
some aquarium seeds in there, she was eating off one of them this morning...
could that have done it?..the other tank doesn't have real plants, just
momma's tank. I don't think she's shedding, turning whiter by the second and
moving less and less. Will she release her eggs as she dies, or are they
gonners too?

Shrimp are hard to even diagnose if sick, and odds are if the shrimp
did not drop her eggs which at that stage would be larvae odds are
they are not at that age of developement yet and most likely are
doomed as well. I would think if the tank she was in prior to this
one, was good enough to breed in then it should have been good enough
to spawn in.........Its a whole different ball game setting up to rear
shrimp larvae.
