whats the consensus on this thread, its not better to go with
crushed coral IMO, so now has anyone used silica? *i thought you
wouldnt want to use this, as the grain particle is not the proper
shape, where theres not enough surface area.

I bought the live sand, white - very fine, and it's a PIA. Looks good
but as soon as ANYTHING touches it (including a fishes tail), it
clouds the tank.

Doing it over I would buy 'dolomite(sp) and a vial or 2 of live
