I believe Iodine is a trace element and should be in your salt. You might
want to switch to a premium brand like:

From what I've been told Tropic Marin is the best. You shouldn't have to
check for trace elements if you do regular 25% changes every 2 weeks. As
long as you don't have fish. Let the salt do your trace element
maintenance. In something as small as 10g I don't think you have much
choice.
Thanks. I have a 10g tank and I bought a test kit. It looks like I'm zeroing
in on 3ml/wk. 2ml doesn't even register on the test and I change water 10%
(1g)/wk.
