Default Vacation Planning

I put food in small paper cups, one for each day per tank that I will
be gone and have someone come and feed the fish. No overfeeding this
way and the fish get checked on each day. Just open the lid, pour out
the food and close her back up. Learned this the hard way after my
wife "helped" me while away one time.

Will be going on vacation for 5 days. Have a 20 gallon tank with

assorted
Tetra's. Any recommendations on feeding while away??
I've seen automatic feeders in the store, any good?
Thanks

I use automatic feeders with both of my tanks. One's an Eheim and the
other's a Nutramatic - both are effective. I use a mixture of feed on both
feeders eg flake, Algae tablets and maybe dried Tubifex. The only issue is
that the feed must be finely cut/ground otherwise large flakes could stop
the flow of feed.
