fish compatibility
if you can isolate them, they will learn by following the example of other
fish. i put a piece of eggcrate in my tank to partition it into 2 tanks when
i get new fish, if the fish is large enough not to go through the holes.

I have heard the same thing for fresh water Oscars. If an Oscar is only
fed canned fish food he will not eat his tank mates. I am against
feeding feeder fish to any of my fish anyways because of the possibility
of contamination. Since the trigger is wild caught and is used to live
food would keeping him in a different tank for a few weeks and feeding
him the processed frozen food I feed the other tanks be long enough to
re-program him to not eat my 2in clown? The Picasso at my LFS are only
2in now and young enough to learn I hope.
Any more ideas or should I just pass one up?
Vicki
your trigger was taught that small fish are food, and also is going to
be subject to (i think) liver disease from eating freshwater fish.
