Hi.

I have to do a gravel vac & adjust a plant some time this week. I know
that the advertising suggests that any time that you do something like
this you should add stress coat, but I'm wondering what the r.a.f. wisdom
is on this -- is stress coat as beneficial as it purports to be? I don't
have any right now, and I'm thinking of buying some before I have to
stress my fish while I muck around in their home. So... what's the
verdict? Is Stress Coat as good as advertised?

Thanks.

Stress Coat is wonderful dechlorinator.
Use it for such. Over doing it, such as for really no reason other than you
fish got scared, so toss in some extra Stress Coat is not needed and can
actually coat the fish's gills and can make breathing harder.
However, once again, for a dechlorinator is wonderful! I use it and recommend
it all the time.
If my shop is out of it..I will go to another store for it...that's how much I
like it.
My limit is one other store though and if they're out as well...I will then buy
NovAqua, but that's a second choice.
