1-month tank, cloudy?
When doing your gravel vacuuming, push the pipe down and don't rake
across. You might actually be doing too much gravel vacuuming to
start the tank off. With goldfish, that situation changes pretty
quickly ;~). The cloudy water is usually completely harmless, but
keep an eye on your NH3/NO2 and NO3. You might want to add a 2nd
filter at some point. UGFs do clog quickly with certain fish
(goldfish, oscars, plecs etc), though I think that you should be fine
for a while. hth
This is sort of what I was elluding to, that goldfish pollute quicker than
other fish, isn't it because of the thicker layer of slime coating??? can't
remember as well.... GF not my cup of tea, but they are cute...
