Default Krib breeding questions removal of fry, when?

I've gotten lucky with 2 of my kribs, they're doing quite well... except I
think I jumped the gun, and may be putting my babies at risk without knowing
it...

on their second batch, it was larger, and they became free swimming a bit
earlier than the previous batch, and I was increasingly worried that they'd
be picked off, like the first batch, only 5 made it. This batch, I've got
12, but when I seperated them to the breeder net, the female became hugely
disoriented, angry toward the net, and would hang out just below the babies
in the net... The male, became increasingly hostile toward her, and he still
guards the pot and I'm not sure if he thinks they're still there, or if
there is some 'other' reason I'm unaware of....

So my questions are, and no in this particular order....

1. when is the right time to seperate the mother and fry?
2. do the fry inherit a learned behaviour from the mother, like eating
habits and times?
3. why does the male display such hostility now, and not before... before
she ate his tail off for some odd reason, but this time, they're both ok,
but he's become hostile... why?

Ok, that's enough for now, just trying to get some understanding on a few
points... Thanks.
