I've never seen a Cascade. For quick & cheap, I like the AquaClears with
double sponges (ie: the AC150 for you, I'm not a fan of the Mini),
otherwise I'd go with a bio-wheel (Penguin 125?, I don't know what their
Mini is like), and live with purchasing new inserts occasionally. Both
provide either bacterial redundancy or separation.
