My convict cichlids that were born on February 7th are brown instead of
green. Both parents are green with black stripes. Is there some food I
can
feed them to make them prettier? What do you suggest? At the moment I'm
only feeding them Wardley's Cichlid flake food. I had the same problem
with
my blue gouramis so I bought them f-d tubifex worms and bloodworms and
they're becoming more blue.

I think they'll color up a little over time, but you'll get the best colours
from convicts only when they're mature and breeding...
