Because of the abnormalties the fish my have would cause them discomfort?

maybe not discomfort, but deformities, like blood parrots, they can't close
their mouths... Flowerhorns are ugly beasts with a huge ugly lump on their
heads, bigger than the lumbhead cichlids...
