My Kribs have spawned!
The reverse happened with mine with the male going crazy eating all the fry
and killing other tank mates and partner

My first attempt at breeding fish has begun! My two kribs have finally
spawned!
Congratulations! My kribs have developed an interesting breeding
routine. They have spawned about once a month since I got them six
months ago and have worked together to protect the eggs and larva. The
last several times though the female has decided that once the fry
reached the free swimming stage the male was no longer welcome and he
was relegated to hiding in a corner. She is not nearly as mean to the
other fish in the tank which are still allowed to swim around the tank,
just not near the fry. The fry would inevitably slowly disappear and
once they were gone (three finally survived from the last brood) the
male was allowed to come out of hiding and they were a happy couple again.
