I have heard this about Labids from other aquarists and have never seen a
Labid cross breed. But, I have witnessed, first hand Peacocks cross breeding.
Perhaps it may be due to the male being an OB peacock which is already a hybrid.
But the females were Ruby Red's and there was a Ruby Red male present.
