Default Eheim 2235

I know the media would serve the same purpose.. My thoughts were cost
effectiveness.. I think I will do some price checking round town here and
see what I can come up with.. I am certain there are alternatives and if the
fluval media is cheaper I will use it.. Thank you ...

Tim..

I have the 2231 and I am using fluval media and it seems to be working

fine.
There are no LFS' in my city that even carry Eheim products so I decided

to
use the Fluval material since it's almost identical, serves the same

purpose
and much cheaper than buying Eheim media from Big Al's.

Anyone use this filter? I purchased one and I did not take the

proprietary
filter media with it.. Anyone have any suggestions for the types of

"Bio
Balls" I can use with this filter? It is going on an over stocked

Malawi
tank as the new primary filter..The "HOT" tetra tech cannot keep up

with
so
many fish in the tank...
