Well folks, it finally arrived today and got it up in snap.. I will give

better.. I snaged a bag of Lava rock and let it soak/rinse for the last
couple of days By this weekend I might be pulling the filter apart and
adding some lava rock media... This unit was larger than the one the
LFS
stocked and cheaper too.. ( ah well it was only PETsMART that carries

around these parts, so it is not going to hurt the Mom and Pop stores

Yes, under observation from here and other NG's I put the filter in a 5
gallon bucket to make sure the seal didn't leak around the top, although
it
apeared to be lubed up when I inspected the unit.. I think the Malawi's
are
going to like it...
