Default Oscar Tank

I would like to get an oscar for my office and wanted some input on tank
size. I am considering getting a 55 gallon kit or a 40 breeder tank. I
would use a Fluval 404 fileter and if I get the 55 gallon kit, I would
also use the filter that comes with the kit. The tank would only be for
the oscar and maybe a pleco. The 55 gallon kit works out to be less
money and will have the second filter as well.

What tank size would be better or do I realy need to suck it up and get
a 75?

TIA,

Mark

Mark, I think you need to suck it up and get the 75, the fish will be so
much happier in a larger facility, and you can add more animals later as
well so it will look nicer, but thats only my gut feeling, im not saying the
55 wont work at all either though but if you can get the 75 that would be
ideal but if it breaks you will surely swamp your office and the people
around you so from that perspective a smaller one would be better but
assuming it wont break then the larger one is much more recommended generaly
speaking but ymmv.
