You apparently live in america, where such things are par for the course.
Just to be argumentative, degree in Marine Bio can make you much more than
35k, if you're tenacious enough about find the right job, and are patient
enough to do the 25k one for a while while you get real-world experience.
You'll learn more usefull info about Marine Biology in the first 6 months
after you start working than in your whole college career. College, while it
has it's uses, is highly over-rated by employers. (IMO)
