No bite on the brichardi (I'm in Canada), but I wanted to comment that
your
Apistos are beautiful (unusual mix for your tank, but if it works...)!
Have you asked your local fish store if they will take some young
Brichardi?

Many thanks. The Brichardi are in a separate tank and on their own. I am
hoping to put in some dither fish when I get the bigger tank. I am throwing
some of my furniture out in order to make room! However it will be a couple
of months before I can (a) afford the tank and (b) have the room ready for
it. Unfortunately work got in the way!
The Apistos are looking even better now. They have settled in nicely and
grown a little fatter since the pics were taken. The female, although small,
has every other fish in the tank running scared. She is usually happy to
keep to herself, but if anyone goes near her favourite cave, beware!
I will ask the LFS if they will take some, but thought there might be a
fellow enthusiast in the area who would appreciate them. The way they are
breeding I will end up with a colony of 60+ at this rate!!
