Why move them to another tank? If they start laying or try to start in the
original tank, it doesn't mean they start right over again in another one. I
(and some friends also) raised from eggs to grownup fish, with other fish in
the same tank. If they've tried several times, they "know" how to do the
trick, also with other fish around. If they start smimming, some breeding
/hashing equipment is advisable, to stop the other fish from eating the
litlle ones. It is important that they stay in the same water as the are
hatched in.
If the couple stops laying, with no result, they probably start in a few
weeks again. Refreshing the water helps them get strarted. They think that
if new fresh water comes (like in the Amazone river with heavy rain), also
more food comes, so probably more success of hatching. (also metioned by
MARK) Also changes in the environment, like movement of rocks, and plants
sometimes helps starting. Just wait.
Mostly it tajes a couple of days cleaning the environment, 1 day of laying,
a few days of hatching and then they start moving the eggs around. It seems
like they eat them, but they move them to protect the little ones. If they
start swimming, you can seperate them in a hatching tank (floating in the
same tank as the hatched). Feed them small food, brine shrimps, and liquid
food (especially made for hatching). In a couple of weeks they grow big
enough to swim alone.
Good luck!
Leon.

I moved them to a 10 gal with nothing but a flat rock (no gravel), and
used
the same water that was in the old tank. Temperature is 26-29 degrees
celcius and PH is 7.2. They're in the spare bedroom and I feed them
frozen
brine shimp. What else can I do?

Suggest you feed with mosquito larvae etc - lots of meaty stuff
Don't get your hopes up it can take 3 or 4 attempts before they
get the hang of it
The lay then forget the eggs
Lay and eat the eggs/eat the fry
Check the glass....has she laid on the glass already?
You may get some wholesale tank refurbishment if she is going in
for serious motherhood. If yiou have catfish/loaches in the
tank...move them as they will eat the eggs at night...Snails are
keen on the eggs too
Good luck...don't fiddle about with them too much, they can be a
little nervy
A couple of small waterchanges might spur them in to action
