This is definitely not true. There are plenty of other dechlorinators
that also deal with the ammonia.

A few others:

Seachem Prime, Tetra "AquaSafe NH/CL Formula", Jungle's "ACE", and
Kordon's "AmQuel". And I'd bet there are more.
